Asians abandon their countries for America

The most economically advantaged of the Asians abandon their countries and they are portrayed as highly successful in the United States: But they were the “cream” of the top in their own countries Most people migrate from places where the effect of the economy or political situation makes a significant negative impact in their lives. And, their tendency is to go to places where the environment is suitable to their immediate and future needs. This suitability factor can be maximally appreciated when the Asians are studied. India has 1 billion inhabitants, and 400 million or almost half of them, live below the international poverty line of US $1 per day per capita at 1993 prices (IndiaOneStop.Com,2000). And, in 1998, 800 million people or 67% of the world’s poor were living in the Asian region (The Business Line.Internet Edition, Sep 4, 2001). However, within the masses of the poor there are significant pockets of individuals who have prospered and managed to obtain a decent education and saved some money. And, overall, these are the people who leave in droves when the opportunity opens up for them. Thus, able to leave places of unbelievable poverty and managing to immigrate to the United States, the elite of Asia are fixated in prospering in the land of opportunities. And, there are the so-called Hispanics who immigrate or migrate to the mainland. These Hispanics are in the main quite poor and, usually, their motivation is primarily to make some money and return to their lands. This trend can be followed quite easily when the March 2000 U.S. Census statistics are reviewed. Immigrants must be totally committed to capitalism to be successful in the United States.
